Unbeaten Rangers power on to victory

THE Darnhill five-a-side tournament, which proved very competitive, was held at Heywood High School in partnership with RMBC Sport Development.
The event, for 11 to 16-year olds, was won by Power Rangers who extended their unbeaten run to 14 matches.
Bad Boys took second place, while Teletubbies beat Three-One in the third place play-off.
A new league will kick off in January, on Thursdays, from 3 to 4.30pm.
RMBC Sport Development will again be working in partnership with Heywood High School and will be running a Level 1 Award in Sport Leadership during the February half term.
This gives young people the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification which will help them pursue a career in the sport and leisure Industry.
The course will be free of charge and open to all 14 to 16-year olds in the area. For more details contact Phil at RMBC Sport Development on 01706 745120.
