Club off to a flyer

NEWLY-formed Heywood Angling Club held its inaugural meeting at the Engineers last week.
And the organisers were delighted with a bumper turnout with more than 40 people attending.
A draft consitution has been drawn up and is currently in the hands of a solicitor to be checked.
Once it is ratified another meeting will be held to elect a committee and club officials. The society already has 50 members signed up but is keen to attract juniors and disabled anglers.
