Rendo Kai clinch clutch of medals

THE North West JSKA Championships were held at Oldham Sports Centre last weekend.

Ren Do Kai Karate club enjoyed a successful event with several members winning medals.

Lee Power achieved a first and second place.

Craig Cooke got a third place.

Ben Gidley posted one first and three seconds.

Robbie Cooke kept the club’s successful run going with two first places, two second places and a third-place finish.

Melissa Robb got a first, second and third, and Sam Connelly got two second places.

Instructor Sensei Marc Leacock was very proud of his students’ performance.

Ren Do Kai are registered with the JSKA GB who will be holding the World Championships at Manchester Velodrome in August.

The event will be hosted by 7 Dan Sensei Charles Gidley.
