Parties are at war over mayor snub

21/ 5/2008

LIBERAL Democrat councillors have defended their decision to boycott the mayor-making ceremony after alleging that the new mayor, a Labour councillor, tried to get one of their members sacked from her job.

The boycott of Robin Parker’s inauguration, on Wednesday last week, has caused an almighty row.

He's a discrase, just because one very good councillor tried to save her local services, he tried to get her sacked. Councillors are not employed to stand back and watch, they are there for the constituents of the town, and to take action when it is needed, this man is a discrase
