Goodbye,Tuppence

TUPPENCE, the plucky Jack Russell terrier thought to be one of the country’s oldest dogs, has died at the age of 26.

Owner Dorothy Butterworth, of Fox Street, made the heart-rending decision to have Tuppence put to sleep Thursday last week after her health deteriorated and she could no longer walk.

   Poor Tuppence, she will be in a better place, with no more hard times, bless the poor little thing. Dorothy I wish you all the sympathy any-one could do. If there is anything I could do I would run to help. Love Tracy and Baxter xx (Penny's brother)
